Our health and well-being are precious\u00a0commodities that we often ignore, and we can often push ourselves to the limit trying to balance a stressful workload and long working hours with a happy family and social life.\u00a0 This can put a lot of pressure on your body and mind, and throw you\u00a0out of balance.\u00a0 Acupuncture\u00a0is a gentle and\u00a0ancient holistic\u00a0therapy that treats your body and mind as an integrated whole, with the aim of returning you to a state of\u00a0balance.<\/p>\n

People come to acupuncture for a whole host of reasons.\u00a0 Many\u00a0come\u00a0looking for relief from various aches and pains.\u00a0\u00a0Other people\u00a0seek out treatment\u00a0to help\u00a0improve their\u00a0general sense of wellbeing; to relax and de-stress or simply\u00a0to use it as a preventative\u00a0measure to\u00a0maintain good health.<\/p>\n

To ensure I am able to consistently\u00a0offer you the best possible treatment, I continually develop and enhance my knowledge and skills through post-graduate courses.\u00a0\u00a0I have undergone various post-graduate training in\u00a0the treatment of\u00a0endometriosis, PCOS,\u00a0infertility, menopause and\u00a0pregnancy.\u00a0 All these areas of life\u00a0not only\u00a0pose an enormous\u00a0transition\u00a0on a physical level,\u00a0but\u00a0the impact on the emotional balance and overall\u00a0spirit tends to be\u00a0frequently\u00a0underestimated.<\/p>\n

I also have a special interest in the use of acupuncture alongside traditional cancer treatment.\u00a0\u00a0I was a registered NHS volunteer complementary therapist for three years for the My Cancer My Choices charity at the NHS Healthspace in Bracknell.<\/p>\n
